E-72:Not able to setup Email

I have E72 and i was able to setup the email (gmail) and it was working fine but later i have removed all my email setups. Again I tried to setup the email(gmail) but it didn't work. It will show me the setup screen and asks to enter the email id password after I enter the details it will come back to email setup screen without setting up the email.

Pl help to resolve the problem.

Re: E-72:Not able to setup Email

Welcome to the forum!

You do have network access point as Priority 1 to allow it to authenticate settings?

If I've helped in any way, a click upon the white star at bottom right of screen would always be appreciated.

However if my answer also solves your problem clickingbelow it will benefit other users!

Re: E-72:Not able to setup Email

I've got exactly the same problem after deleting my singnet email account and trying to set up using the wizard. Could you explain a little more details regarding priority 1 and network service? Thanks!!

Re: E-72:Not able to setup Email

Welcome to the forum!

If you go to Menu > Ctrl. panel > Settings > Connection > Destinations > Internet - is network access point = Priority 1?

Otherwise highlight desired access point > Options > Organise > Change priority > highlight entry in Priority 1 slot > OK - it will now jump to top of list.

Whilst it needs a network access point to authenticate settings when establishing account, once configured you can change to WLAN if you so wish.

If I've helped in any way, a click upon the white star at bottom right of screen would always be appreciated.
