I'm trying to add my corporate email to nokia messaging. the following data are required:
1. Incoming mail server.
2. Outgoing mail sever.
3. Incoming server port.
4. Outgoing server port.
5. SSL Required for incoming mail server. Yes or No.
6. SSL Required for outgoing mail server. Yes or No.
I'm not an IT Admin. I don't want to check with my Company IT. I don't know how to get these data.
Mail for Exchange was super! It never asked for anything like this. You just enter your email and it auto-resolve your settings.
I think to set up your corporate email on nokia messaging you need to be an IT Geek!
All help are appreciated.

Nokia Messaging also auto-resolves server settings based on email address.
When you create your Nokia Messaging account make sure you use your real email address as the user login name, and the password must be the same as your email address.
If it ask for servers, ports and stuff, it means you didn't provide a valid email address when setting up your account.

Thanks for your reply. I'm 100% sure I enter a valid email. The same email is working flawlessly on Mail for Exchange. It doesn't ask for a username by the way!
I went to advanced settings, i.e. Servers, ports..etc because I originally receive the famous error" Unable to connect to the server. Please try again later."
When I enter another email I receive the following" We need more information to set up your account.
Nokia Messaging supports email from thousands of Internet email service providers, but it does not support corporate email.
Choose one of the following options:
Appreciate all the help!

tsobh,
Nokia Messaging supports any mail server that has POP3 and/or IMAP enabled. That said, you'll need to obtain your server settings from your mail server admininstrator in order to move forward with using Nokia Messaging.
Thanks,

Hello,
when I put my corporate mail address (that works through IMAP), I get an "Unable to connect to the server. Please try again later" error. I have all the needed informations (server, port, etc), but where do I enter them ?

@Ibalogh
I found these steps at one of the blogs. I think they may help you settings things up. Good Luck!
#1 open the Nokia Mail set up email webpage and fill:
youremail address
yourpassword
yourname
Click on next
You should get "unable to connect with the information provided" and a new screen
#2 here fill
password
user name
DO NOT CLICK NEXT!
Instead:
Copy this to the adressfield of your browser: https://netac5.vie.hosting.nokia.com/account/addEm
Load
NOTE: If you do not fill the form the upcoming screen will be missing the password or not load at all
You should be in a sort of advanced settings screen
#3 here fill in youname and your Incoming and outgoing Mail Server settings
click OK
You shouild now be set-up

@tsobh,
what do i do if i have to configure my exchange server mail? in exchange server my login name would be domain\username which would be different to my mail id which would be name@company.com. pl be informed that the "username" & "name" are different. moreover, we don't have a separate password for email address rather there is a password for domain\username with which we can access mails on OWA.
any help on this would be very helpful

@saugatab
I've learned that Nokia Messaging won't work unless my exchange server has POP or IMP enabled. Unfortunatley they are not.
I'd suggest you try all different scenarios...
Sorry if I couldn't help!
