Cant setup nokia messaging app on e71!

I have downloaded nokia messaging many times but all i get is the ugly old sms like messaging. acutally when i click on the new installed icon of the nokia messaging, nothing happens, and when i click on the new setup wizard, it creates an Email account in the usual messaging folder.   Please help...   firmware version 100.xx/x/x/x/x

Your firmware might be outdated. Check for updates with Nokia PCSuite.
