Is it possible on the N95 to stop a sms from sending if you've accidently sent it to the wrong person?

You have very little time to cancel a message after you hit the send button. You need to rush to your out box and stop it from there. With older phones you could just hit the red button but i don't think S60 gives us that chance

You have a few seconds depending on how busy the network is, you can quickly set your phone to Offline mode then go delete the message from your outbox if it you caught it before it went out.

Best practice, unfortunately, is still to double check before hitting send.

HA HA HA, there's something I didn't think of. That's a very good idea Mouserider. I just hope I don't forget it when I need to cancell a message

If you practice, you can actually do it pretty fast:

3-clicks on 3rd Ed: power button, Up, OK.

2-touches on 5th Ed: power button, Offline.

Not on my N82 though. 5clicks: power button, up 3times (because I have to go through the remove memory card and lock phone option then) OK.
