Can't send sms messages from N95

Apologies in advance if this has already been posted in another topic.

I bought a pre-owned N95 back in August, and now i cant send text messages from it. The phone was initially on T-Mobile and it was working ok on that network (i bought the phone from a friend and i know for sure that she had no problems at all with the phone in the time she had it) I got the phone unblocked to any network as i am on O2, and it worked fine up until last week. I have tried a factory reset, but i still cant send texts. Everything else is working ok.
