hi,

can anyone pls help me how to transfer the favorites in MAPS of one phone to another one.

say i want to change my phone but i dont want to lose the favorites which i have saved in the previous one.

What are the 2 phones you have? I used to transfer landmarks between my Nokia phones using the phone transfer utility. Nowadays, I just sync Nokai Maps on my phones with my online Nokia Maps account. This feature also allows you to set favourites as well as routes on your pc and then sync to your phone.

To do this start Nokia Maps on your main phone and sign in using the same username and passford as for this forum. Then sync your phone with the online account. Now browse to Maps.Nokia.com on your pc and sign in using the same credentials. You see see all your favourites and routes online. You can then also sign in using any othe phone you want to sync.

If both devices had "Landmark" application you could also send them by Bluetooth or Email.

Unfortunately if one of the devices is Symbian S^3 then method advocated by cjlim is the only method unfortunately.

I let my friend use his Nokia phone to connect to my online ovi account and that's how I also transfer all my favorite to him en masse.
