Re: UNABLE TO USE GPS.

@abheekmaiti

Temporarily only enable Integrated GPS, go outside away from tall buildings (if feasible) launch OVI Maps application and wait 20 - 30 minutes necessary for device to get it's first positional fix.

If I've helped in any way, a click upon the white star at bottom right of screen would always be appreciated.

Re: UNABLE TO USE GPS.

The other problem is when the position was found I can't plan a route with offline modus. With the earlier version of ovi maps it works fine. Can anybody help?:smileysad:

Even if "Offline" select "Drive" > Set destination from either History, Favourites, Search or Map > Options > Rt. points - if you want to amend.

If device still under warranty would suggest backup all data, reset device to "Out of box" state, check for v50.0.001 firmware update or try re-install existing firmware option; at this point if doesn't get positional lock with only Integrated GPS enabled after leaving 30 minutes take it back.

1) Should be covered unless device diagnosed as suffering "water ingress".

2) Don't know.

3) Freshly formatted device by keying in *#7370# followed by 12345
