- it freezes frequently to the extent the phone stops to react to any touch command

- when in drive mode flicking the screen changes view mode unreliably. I have to flick to the side several times to cause view change. It's possibly linked to previous issue

- it exits the app when I press the red handset key when in Ovi maps. This happens before i get satellite lock. I also experienced this kind of exits after the satellite lock. It results in the need to press-and-hold menu key to select home screen icon instead of having a simpler alternative of pressing the end-call key to return to homescreen.

- it caused the phone to restart several times. After the restart I couldn't get the statellite lock no matter how long I've waited' no matter how many times I've restarted Maps and how well I've made the phone exposed to the sky (no tall buildings or other obstacles around). Only another restart helped to get a lock relatively quick.

Is "discussions" a proper place to report this kind of bugs?

Ovi maps section of Nokia site seems to have a bug  reporting site but it's bad. It only gives you two alternatives. It sends a message that you are not really interested in hearing opinions of people having other issues than routing. This is very bad. You should either make Ovi maps bug free or make bug reporting easier and accesible.

You can report the Ovi Maps bugs at the Nokia Beta Labs, through which your complaints go direct to the developers.

I do have N97 mini with Maps 3.04.

I can not confirm your points 1, 2, 4, did not test your third problem.

So.... if i would be you, i would do

- save your data

- check for firmware-update

- do a reset
