I have a Nokia N95 8GB which is bought in HK and I currently live in China Mainland.

 

My problem is that I cant read Chinese caracters so I have tried to download a new map for China. It is in English as I hoped that it would be but there is basically no roads in the cities. So my question is how I get the detailed map with the Chinese caracters back?

You can download maps using the Nokia Map Loader available from http://europe.nokia.com/explore-services/maps/download

 

after installing the application to your pc, connect your phone using data transfer mode.

-From here you will be able to download a whole lot of maps directly to your phone.
