Nokia discontinued Map loader

Map loader is no longer supported by Nokia. It is not possible to download, install, and use the Map loader application.

Could someone confirm this or post the link to the installation of Map Loader.

Re: Nokia discontinued Map loader

Nokia Support emailed this to me on August 6th:

The Maploader is not more available. Please use the OVI-Suite Software. See follow Weblink:
http://europe.nokia.com/support/download-software/nokia-ovi-suite

Nokia provided the download link to Map Loader 3.0.24.0 and 3.0.28.0, allowing me to download both before they removed the links from their website.  As far as I can determine, both versions work okay, still, if you have then on your computer.  Fwiw...

Re: Nokia discontinued Map loader

I have also used the map loader for maps problems that I have with ovi suite.

Let's hope that the new version of ovi makes the work.

Re: Nokia discontinued Map loader

Frankly, I wish Nokia continued its support of PC Suite and Map Loader .. rather than trying to force us (the way I see it) all to switch to Ovi Everything.  Ovi Suite is too demanding for some of my old computers .. and I'm not going buy new hardware because of Nokia/Ovi.

For example, I have a trusty IBM Thinkpad 600X (500Mhz) from 1999 which runs XP Pro/Sp3 just fine.  It's traveled with me around the globe a few times...
