Would anyone recommend using the standard nokia ovi maps GPS or are there better GPS software out there for the E72?

If you recommend i use just the nokia gps ovi maps is it free forever?

Yes I do as certain regions still non-navigable as far as Nokia Maps concerned such as Cyprus & Pakistan:

In so much that no problem with application installation from 2GB microSD upon which Garmin Mobile Xt supplied, although GPS performance suffers if only utilising Integrated GPS positioning method upon E72 due to poor GPS antenna size/positioning in this model compared to others.

It is probably more compatible with S60 3rd Ed. as S60 5th Ed."Touchscreen" devices were onbly supported at the very end of it's development.

Another advantage of Garmin Mobile Xt is larger point of interest database which is stored locally on the device.
