Why I write like this, because i have n86 and n97 and i have both tested with new ovi maps v3.03 with online mode. And 100% working, i recommended to my friends n85 and working too. Why it is working. And i know is not officially release but First if u compare with previous ovi mas it always install "LICENCE MANAGER ". But in this version it didnt include licence manager, i ve opened by siscontent, and ensure that no licence manager, only " maps.sisx " with size +- 7 mb. And then the function of licence manager is to load activation licence key that it has installed into phone memory, thats as far as i know. And thus, it should work on all s60 v3 and s60 v5.

It isn't working on all of them. On the N79, for one example, it just plain won't install.

I have N86 and I can confirm that it works but maybe there are some issues as I never got the compass work OK after installing the 3.03 version of OviMaps. Can you check if there is any problem with N86 about the compass in that version of OviMaps. In my case by pressing the 5 key the round sign goes red (instead of yellow and green) and never goes to greenstate meaning that something is going wrong. On the other hand it seems that work fine

Did u ensure to calibrate ur device. My n86 is going to work and show green. Ensure u know to calibrate it. Just like make a eights symbol.

Did u have to uninstall previous version. Try delete previous, somehow it can be showdown with previous ovi maps.
