I have the UK charts on my N8. Worked great last summer. Now closrs down after an attempt to go online. Map system still there and doesn,t require a connection to operate. Any help appreciated.

Unfortunately real reason for it's demise upon Symbian S^3 was never clear, although there did seem to be some issues running application with existing Qt dependencies which sometimes necessitated application being re-installed until it was pulled from Ovi Store in October 2011.

 

There is further discussion here /t5/Maps-Navigation-and-GPS/Navionics-Charts-discontinued/m-p/1174349/highlight/true#M37094 but Navionics now seem only to want to support Android, iPhone & iPad devices.

If I've helped in any way, a click upon the white star at bottom right of screen would always be appreciated.
