Just installed newest Maps 3.01. Started and opened tools/settings/navigation -> silently crashes and leaves the GPS connection open. 

Tried to find a way to send bug report thru Maps support pages. Couldn't.

Maybe I should just give up and buy the Route 66.

I got asked by Ovi Suite to update Maps and have now installed:

v3.01 09wk44 b01

It's happening the same on my Nokia 6710 Navigator.

After Ovi Suite updated Nokia Maps to the version v3.01 09wk44 b01, the program crashes/exits when I try and access the Tool/Settings/Navigation section.

I have just updated my Maps software to the same version on my E71 & have encountered the same problem with the Navigation settings options.  Maps just 'closes' without warning.  I've e-mailed Nokia Care about it & hopefully this bug will be sorted soon or a work-a-round provided.

Exactly the same issue with the N95, I have just upgraded to v3.01 09wk44 b01

Used to navigate once and the then the  map software couldn't get a GPS fix, SportsTracker ,

GPS Data app had no problemgetting a GPS fix.

Th GPS fix issue was resolved by a "Normal" Reset (*#7780#) did not fix the navigator screen crash though....

same problem here. after upgrading my e71-2 to the 300.21,012 and reinstalling maps v3.01 09wk44 b01 mw using nokia map updater.

I have a very similar problem (not experienced on previous iterations of version 3). The application crashes when Tools - Settings - Internet is chosen. (E71)

6710 Navigator here and the same issue ... Navigation settings not accessible ... crashes and goes back to the main menu screen ...

any fixes available yet ???

Same issue here. Small hint for nokia. I might be a good idea to stop to distribute a version with severe issues.
