Hello world,
I am seeking advice about importing LMX files (landmark files) with categories and collections. N8 phone and Ovi maps 3.07. Planning on going to camping holiday and wanted to load several 100 camping locations in phone.
Problem is that whatever i do imported POI's load in default collection - which would not be major issue if there was a possibility to mark and assign POI's to collections in bulk. But it's not and manually assigning 100+ POI's to collection is incredibly tedious.
Even more frustrating is that i am unable to make new POI's appear under relevant category.
For example i load POI's with category id 3000 (hotels), phone recognizes this - i can see in preview that it shows category hotels for POI, but after loading POI can not be found under
hotels.
I am confident XML syntax is ok. Web search did not turn up anything useful.
Anyone help?

@Bus_labi
Welcome to the forum!
Unfortunately AFAIK there is currently no solution to this issue upon your N8.

Thanks for responding.
Is it N8 specific problem or Ovi maps generally?
LMX spec is 5+ years old and Nokia has not yet gotten around to implement it? How hard can it be !?!?!? :/

If anything things have gone backward with Symbian^3 devices as "Landmark" application dropped as no longer functions:http://www.developer.nokia.com/Community/Wiki/KIS0
