If I have Wi-Fi/Network switched on will I incur data charges when using the Sat Nav.

Hi,

 

I have just started using email and web on my Nokia 5800, I don't want to download any data while using my Ovi Maps/Sat Nav, Assisted GPS doesn't have a tick next to it so I know that is swiched off, but Wi-Fi/Network does, does this mean it will connect to my provider when using the Sat Nav and incur charges.

No it doesn't and this Nokia resource may explain things a little better:http://europe.nokia.com/support/product-support/nokia-map-loader/faq#012
