There are some mistakes on maps, for example road suddenly finishes in map even though it exists in reality. Where I could report problems with maps?

@Edvardas
Either use Map Reporter within Ovi Maps application upon device or directly here:http://mapreporter.navteq.com/

@Evardas Nokia maps are made by Navteq and Navteq uses different inputs for keeping maps up to date. Amongst other inputs Navteq uses reports from users, like you and me, his own control system and the planning of official authorities, like the central or local government. I reported four changes, which were about two years already in the planning and implemented about a year ago. I consider Navteq maps for my country, the Netherlands, out of date. What is your opinion about Navteq maps in your country? As to the errors you mentioned, how long ago the actual situation has been changed? BTW I use Sygic on my N8 as well and the maps used by Sygic, Teleatlas, are up to date in regard to the changes I reported to Navteq.

@mobywil: What is your opinion about Navteq maps in your country?
My country is Finland, so most of my experience is from there, with some usage in other European countries (end even in Mexico).
There are many possibilities in answering your question. First of all, if there is road construction going on, then it is understandable, that the maps are outdated.
1 Have I been seriously mislead because of faulty map data? No, not once in more than three years. Nokia Maps has sometimes given me obviously wrong advice, but when checking map data, I have not found an error there. Probably the error has been in the routing algorithm of the Maps program.
2 Minor errors? Maps data indicated that turning to left in a crossing was not allowed. In reality it was. If I had believed the advice Maps gave me I would have driven perhaps 100 meters extra. I have found maybe 3 errors of this size.
3 Delays in updating: My home street (a very tiny street on suburbs of Helsinki) was added to the map about three years after it was built and two years after I reported the omission to Navteq.
4 Many errors in speed limits. Road names are generally OK, but if a road changes name, the change point can be one or two blocks wrong.
5 There is a square area (maybe 15km x 15 km) where all lakes are omitted. Does not affect driving, but is definitely a technical error in the map. I reported the error in February 2009. No correction so far.
All and all: There are errors, but in reality they don't affect driving. However, Navteq is lousy in responding to user reports!

@fonero Keeping maps up to date is very time consuming business, I realize that. Navigation software can include many features, however, the main aspect for me is the quality of the maps. I can compare Navteq with Teleatlas and as for my country Teleatlas beats Navteq. Everyone must use navigation with common sense, which means never to rely on the navigation for 100%. The quality of maps can differ from country to country. In general I'm not particular happy with Nokia maps, so I rather use Sygic with Teleatlas maps. I regret, that Sygic stops supporting the Symbian OS. When Nokia keeps their navigation system using maps, which are one year or more out of date and I will not be able to install a navigation system, that meets my standards, I have no other choice than finding a phone with the navigation options I like. For me is a reliable navigation system a deal braker. The map errors I reported to Navteq were not pending road constructions, but constructions completed about a year ago. This is for me an example of an out of date map. What you mentioned in your post is not taking away my doubts about the quality of Navteq maps in general, your experience underlines my experience. If I take into account that Navteq, like Teleatlas, rolls out updates four times a year, I seriously wonder if this is true for every country and/or for the full coverage of entire countries. Greetings from Holland. Have a nice day.
