E52 - my maps doesnt work - but it is installed

my map is ALWAYS looking for GPS - and is never working.

 

i have downloaded the maps nad installed it - and it always seems to be looking.

 

i have gone outside, and the gps signal picture is always on "white"

 

how do i fix this? what is wrong?

i have the latest fw - v31

Which version of Nokia/Ovi Maps have you got installed on your phone?

The first position fix can take quite long especially is you are non using Assisted GPS. Have a look at this link.
