I've been trying for months now and it fails every time. Select to download entire Europe and most of the time I get a "Can't connect to map service", when I don't it starts to download for a while until I get the same error again.

Also, did try to update one of the maps I had installed and after a few minutes I got the same error again, and I ended up with no map data at all on my phone, it deleted the old map data.

I've tried this on three different computers, with two different internet providers and I've tried different days of the week and at different times, daytime, evenings, nights and mornings but it's always the same.

As it is right now I have NO map data on my phone and I can't get any maps either since it always fails after a short time. This is really outrageous!

Just to add, this is on an N97 in Sweden with a 100/100 fibre and 3.5G Mobile internet.

And..

If I download 1 country at a time it generally succeeds after 8-10 attempts.

I will never be able to download all the maps I want because I can't sit by my computer and try, try, try and try again like this until I get them all. It will take forever.

What version of OVI Maps are you running on your N97, go to "?" > About Maps > Versions?

Ironically there has been a new map series 00.02.43.117 released about a fortnight ago and whereas there was initially corruption within data for Europe if downloading entire continent this is now resolved.

Certainly release of OVI Suite v.3.1.1.80 together with new mapping has been a fraught experience for some users.

As a Mac user I have to manually download map data directly from servers at times for devices using OVI Maps v3.06 & later and decompress the .zip files to respective folders in E:\Cities\diskcache

I too have not been able to load the whole Europe at once.Other continents seem to load OK. I loaded the other continents, but then I had to load Europe by loading all countries separately.
