@aaitsme
Sorry seems to be blank attachment for me on a Mac, anyway your E72 would use 00.01.26.113 series of maps for OVI Maps v3.04 and those few direct download links that I have tried don't appear to be giving issues although are for entire continents!

thanks asperger
maybe you can see the .jpg
my line is a 'so called' 100Mbps, browsing looks fast to me. I tried before to download the maps manually from a server mentioned in another topic, and I got some 200Mb in few minutes. Shame the archive I downloaded is corrupted.
Through Ovi suites, 80Mb in 4 hours.

@aaitsme Just a few quick comments
1. Maps update WILL DELETE ALL YOUR MAPS. Its normal. The older maps data will not work with newer maps versions. They are should be overwritten. It is of course your option to do so, but you will not get your newer maps if you dont.
2. If you insist on going to another brand (I wont argue, I use two phones of different OS and brands), I suggest dont do Samsung, GPS is **bleep**. It's configured to use A-GPS and yet my 5800 with integrated GPS alone enabled is more accurate.
3. For your problem regarding maps download, the last time I've had a similar issue (My country only consists of about less than 50mb of data, but took over an hour to download) was before I realized that my antivirus program was creating the issue. I've never had an issue again after setting the firewall to whitelist and grant full access to Ovi Suite.
