I deleted maps from microsd card. Where can i download them for nokia2710? Nokia suite sends me to nokia web site, site tells that my phone have preinstalled maps, and sends me back to nokia suite to download maps. It looks like a joke. Nokia site suggests my to select my phone model and the only link is to download pdf instruction bugaga. Cyclic links on nokia site is something ... It seems a person need to be Sherlock Holmes to be able to find something here![]()

@abrakada
Did you open Nokia Maps application again without any map data upon microSD to re-create necessary folder structure? Device should then be recognised Nokia Suite > Maps and offered mapping avaialable.

Could you please tell me the version of your maps? I would like to use it when it's free. As far as I know version 3.06 and above are free, is it right?

@kermit39
Unfortunately with Series 40 Nokia Maps 2.1 having to be pre-installed in device firmware it seems to be a law unto itself!
You have probably accessed this Nokia resource already:/t5/Maps-Navigation-and-GPS/Top-Questions-for-Ovi-

@aspergerguy
Thank you very much for fast reply, yes, I have seen this article. But I understood that 2710 navigation edition has or will have the free map version, whatever version this is.
"Are S40 devices compatible with Ovi Maps 3.03 and later?
...
Free navigation is now available on the following S40 models, others will follow:
6700 Classic
2710 Navigation Edition
Please note that you cannot update the Maps application in S40 devices directly, updated versions of the Ovi Maps for S40 can only be delivered as part of a normal software update, see www.nokia.com/softwareupdates for more information on updating your phone software. "
Do I make a mistake?

No, version used is specific with reduced feature set and mapping much less detailed due to lack of phone resources.
