Phone: Nokia N9 with Harmattan updated to the latest release (PR1.1)

I've bought Quick Voice Input Keyboard from the Ovi Store, but, after a successfull payment, I get a download error. Investigating through the terminal I found an Hash Sum Mismatch error.

Below a log of the error

Unfortunately the error appears to lie with your device here as apart form the usual erroneous "Purchase failed" message there was no problem with installation:

I'm not the only one having this problem, lot of people purchased the app, but they aren't able to download/install it. It seems a signature problem. N9's apps on the Ovi Store are signed by Nokia itself, so I can't solve the problem by myself, I need support by the store's staff.

Then you must contact them thru' 'SUPPORT' tab at the Nokia Store site... This is just an User-to-User Forum..

It maybe perhaps be worth users trying the following on N9 but not if it takes them outside their comfort zone using developer mode:

Open Terminal

devel-su
rootme
apt-get update
apt-get -f install
apt-get autoremove
apt-get clean
apt-get autoclean

This application is bad news.  Half the people get it working, the other half well, check the reviews carefully.  On my phone keyboard disappeared and I could not put lock code in.  Thank goodness for internet and folks helping.

There's a known bug, already fixed. The next release will work properly and is waiting for Nokia Store approval. I hope it will be published in the next hours.

I hope so, I am worried to install this again. Please be more specific. I got locked out of my phone until I managed a cold start without the security prompt at the beginning.

The problem was releated to the keyboard initialization, a routine that gets performed even if the keyboard is disabled. That's why wasn't enough to disable the keyboard, but it was mandatory to uninstall it to have back a clean situation. BTW: you can file a detailed bug report to desertconsulting#AT#gmail.com if you still experience the problem with the latest version (0.1.7) and we'll investigate on it.
