Please! I just remembered that the only 'security' i have is device lock, which kinda sucks. I liked how wave secure let you do a remote back up and a remote lock from anywhere.

Any chance this can be made by the community?

that is exactly how the lock daemon wsa created.

it s great little  app that was made by request.

it has a gui now too.

go to:

app manager/download/search/lock

good application that also make your phone vibrate when you lock it, so you know it is locked and can make a sound of your choic when opening or closing.

i have some good transformer and light-saber sounds if you want them.

I'm sure a decent device security app will be made though, there were a few for Symbian and i can't imagine an expensive phone like the N900 going too long without someone making one
