How do I check the status of my N900 rebate submission?

You can check on http://nokiapromos.com/ and then click "Where's my submission?"   Good luck on this though.  I tried this for me a few days ago and it could not locate my information.  You can call 800.436.6394 but it is an automated number that does not have an option to talk to a real person.

 

I received a letter from Nokia today that stated "Remeber, (sic) you must activate Ovi Maps or Ovi Store to be eligible for this offer."

 

I actually activated both shortly after I received the phone and legibly wrote down my username along with all of the other pertinent information on the original rebate form.  I now have to return the letter with the "missing information requested" by March 2, 2010.  I tried to go to the "Email Us" section of the nokiapromos site tried to submit a query with a topic "Unqualified letter received" that I selected from a dropdown menu.  I got an HTTP 500 internal server error. 

 

It looks like I will have to re-send all of my information in order to get my rebate.  I am not happy at all the "hoops" I have to go through to get my rebate since I was very deliberate in ensuring my submission followed ALL of their requirements and the form was filled out extremely legibly.

Why is it America always get given all of these special deals from Nokia when the rest of the world don't :smileymad:

I got this email from Nokia (noreply@web-rebates.com) on January 20 and still haven't received a rebate.

You should be receiving your request in the mail within the next 2 - 3 weeks.

I've tried searching the status of the above website, they could not find my record. I've heard Nokia's pretty bad about issuing rebates in a timely manner, and it seems any search for the rebates online is futile.
