hi, Nokia Software Updater, doesn't recognize my N9, how can I fix it?

As far as I know it doesn't work so no fix. You don't need it anyway because you can update OTA.

I shall have to contradict cjlim here unfortunately as N9 should be recognised by standalone Nokia Software Updater as per screenshot:

FOTA = free-over-the-air is method of updating device either via 3G or WLAN connection. What is the current problem with your N9?

Could not get N9 recognised by Nokia Suite on any of my pc's and laptops. Now I know why.

thank you aspergerguy, the problem is, if I try to search for updates using WLAN or 3G, my phone says that there are not updates available, my phone has the Meego 10.2011 version

If you would like to post device product code, seven character alphanumeric upon the SIM tray of your N9 we would prbably have a better idea here.
