I have a Nokia Messaging account and want to use it on the N900.
So I went to the E-mail app and on top I chose "New Account"
I set my region, but in "Service Provider" is NOT in the list.
Is there any way to get this?

What firmware version do you have and what is your region?

Hi,
I tried several countries, but none seems to have it,
and I really want to use Nokia messaging,

what country are you in? If Nokia messaging is being provided by a carrier (licensed by a carrier from Nokia) in your country and you are not on that carrier you will not be able to use Nokia messaging on the N900.
Sorry
Mark post as solved if this is the case.

@dre jv
im in the Netherlands Antilles, and using the provider UTS.
there are only two providrs and neither have a deal with Nok Messaging.
i really need this.Nokia messaging worked fine on the N97, didnt change sim or number.

Yep the N900 has that annoying " checking for services" that the N97 does not do... Actually what is the Product code for your device... I didn't think the N.A had the device for sale.

It was bought from Amazon, so its from the North American region.

I have an US(NAM) version 0580952 and I can use Nokia Messaging without any problems.
You can have a look under the battery on the phone to see if you have the same code with me.
If you have the same product code than the only explication for it will be your SIM card (as DrEJV said the carrier in your country doesn't support Nokia Messaging)

@neoakl
I also have 0580952.
The carrrieres here dont even know what Nok Messaging to support.
Isn't there a workaround for this?

Mine is missing, how to get back???

Using a north American N900 on T-mobile and had to re-flash it. Now nokia messaging doesn't show up as an option and I cannot use it.
I'm so fed up with Nokia's nonsense. I bought an e75 which was supposed to get me messaging for life. I didn't know it was going to tie me to the phone.

Hi all,
I got hit with the same problem this week, after using Nokia messaging successfully for months on my N900. What finally worked was to borrow another sim card (ATT in my case) and pop it into my N900. Nokia Messaging was available as an option while the borrowed sim was in the phone - I create a new email account using nokia messaging (which then showed up on the nokia messaging webpage). Once I swapped my tmobile sim card back in, the account was still there and worked fine. Good luck.
