Re: N900 Newbie.... Menu Questions?

There is an app called "Catorise" which automatically files applications - I found it much better than the standard system. Just go to downloads, I think it was filed under descktop (the apps disapper from the list after you have downloaded an item). Hope you enjoy your new device - The jury is still out for me.
Current Devices:
N900, N97, 5800 & iPhone.
nukea - we will get the perfect device in the end (but not this year!)

Re: N900 Newbie.... Menu Questions?

The question was a good one that I have as well.  But the answer is not an appropriate answer to mark this "solved".  Catorize is good, I use it.  But as the original post asked... how can I move icons around.  Some of the choices that Catorize makes I don't agree with.  I want to move icons where *I* want them.

N900 is supposed to be a tablet for the tech geeks right?  Where's the control?  Where's the customization?

It's better than the iphone, but not by much.

Re: N900 Newbie.... Menu Questions?

there is no way i know of RE the menu but there is an app called 'tweaker' which might be updated to cover that soon but as far as downloads go, go to www.maemo.org and try the Ovi site as well. i've only had my N900 since monday and I've downloaded loads!
