i got an email to my hotmail account on my phone via nokia messaging(NM). it tells me that i have to update in order to use hotmail. it tells me to go to email.nokia.com and update via the download button. But i can't find it!

How do i update NM?

even if you look on their website and select the N900 as your device it just says that its upto date

it's for windows live mail, i got it too. the problem is that the n900 browser isn't seen by sites as a mobile browser so we can't get to the mobile sites. If anyone knows how to access mobile sites then it will work.

Im using Hotmail too, might be the problem.

oddly, opera mobile is hit and miss - facebook views as the mobile version, but nokia email views as the full site

Don't use Hotmail myself, but maybe creating a WAP connection in fAPN and going through your provider's WAP server might help.

maybe try midori browser.

or there is another application called HideUserAgent

this application will let you change what your browser user agent.  you can change how the network see your browser.  the defualt is "maemo browser"  but you can customize it with "opera", etc.

you can also try to go to the regular website and /m at the end.

guys i think there is some problems in the nokia messaging server, i had some problems with it yesterday, and this morning it was a bit buggy, but everything is fine now.
