IMEI: Gives you the Serial Number of the phone aka IMEI

Second 1 gives you the software version currently running on your phone.

Enhanced full rate & Half rate i believe mainly related to the 2g network which gave better call quality and half saved battery, i didnt notice the difference however i might be wrong.

Providor/network/sim lock: tells you if your phone is locked to a network or that particular network or sim.

Re: nokia secret codes

I'm stumped. What's "secret" about these codes?

Although to be honest I'd never heard of *#9999#, not that it seems to do anything mind you.

Oh, and *#92702689# gives the life timer. It has nothing to do with SIM-lock information.

EFR and HR switches only work on a few older S40 phones.

Some people will believe anything if they think there's a free lunch in it...

It just goes to show that you shouldn't believe everything you see on the web!

Now we have to deal with people who are going to see your "secret" codes in a google search, look at this thread on an official Nokia forum and think it's the gospel truth.

Re: nokia secret codes

To my knowledge these are Intel codes and not Nokia code.
If the codes work on your nokia,(especially Sim related ons's) then its an Intel chip in your Phone and vica versa.
