no display on my N70 LCD

hi..it's my first time to post here..i have a problem with my n70 fone..nothing can be seen on the LCD,but it shows some signs of turning on like the nokia tune when it's turned on and the backlight of the fone.i will have to spend much money for the repair if i will bring it to the repair center. i'm hoping i could getsome useful ideas here..pls help me..thanks..

You can try a hard reset if it shows some sign of lift but remove your sim and memory card first.

Hard reset:

1. Switch off the phone.

2. Hold down the following three buttons: Green (the call answer button), * button, and '3' button.

3. While holding these buttons, press the power button and switch on the phone.

4. Release when the phone shows the nokia logo or shows other signs of life like the language selction screen.

If that fails to work then you will have to get it repaired.

thanks for the tip..i'll try it, and i'm very hopeful that it'll be a success and i would not need to go to the repair center anymore..godbless.
