Nokia 2720 An icon at the top of the screen looks like the bottom half of a square with up arrow flashing. Any suggestions what this is? The supplied owners manual does not explain or show common icons, is the a listing somewhere?

It means, you have unsent items in your outbox. Could be a text message, an MMS or an e-mail. Go to Messaging -> Outbox, and either go to Options -> Send, or delete it.

Hi,
I have a similiar request. I cannot identify an icon on my Nokia 2720. I looks like an ear with an arrow head entering from below at a 45 degree angle. The user guide doesn't contain this information.
Can anyone help? Kaycee 1

It means that you have activated your call divert.. do the following to be taken off from your screen:
1. Go to Menu
2. Settings
3. Call
3. Select Call Divert
4. Press No Call Diverts - to cancel your Diverts
Then check the icon if it is still on your homescreen.

I have a similar issue. Unknown icon not explained in the useless manual. Nokia 2720, the icon appears next to the battery charge icon at the top of the menu screen and looks like a handheld radio receiver with a little stubby antenna on top, with two pairs of offset brackets on either side. No clue. The cell phone guy himself thought it was telling me my volume was low, but it wasn't. What is this and how do I get rid of it?

Got it. That was the icon that says the phone is set on Vibrate. Turned that off and all is well.
