I have a 2 week old N85 which, once switched on won't do anything, it just freezes.  It won't receive calls, it doesn't even show that someone is ringing you.  Nothing works.  The screen just stays lit up and no matter what you press nothing hapens.

Can anyone access the list of Nokia Care points?  I've tried it in Firefox and it just says 'loading store types' and goes no further. In IE I can choose Essex, but then the screen goes whiter & I'm left waiting.

I managed no problem using firefox. Are you sure there isn't a problem with your internet connection?

Before you take it to Nokia, perhaps you should go back to your dealer. I'm not sure what the law is in England, but here in Australia if the handset is less than 30 days old and is faulty, the dealer has to replace it with a brand new handset (I'm pretty sure anyway!).
