Hello,
I just got my Nokia 5800 Xpress Musik 2. days ago and today it just stopped to vibrate without any reason.
The vibration is completely dead, i'm not getting any vibrating feedback while using the touch screen or the lock switch. Even on incomming Phonecalls the Phone doesn't vibrate.
The Phone isn't connectet to the computer or the charger and all Vibration-Features are set ON.
I also tried a hard reset an reboot...nothing works : - (
Thank's for your Help
Regards
Max

I have exactly the same problem, as of yesterday. I've checked all the profile settings, and I've reset the phone, but without any success.
One thing I have noticed is that if I listen very carefully when pressing the touchscreen, I can hear a very faint clicking sound. This is also the case when the phone rings. Perhaps there's a problem with the vibration mechanism? My phone is only one month old, so it'll be going back unless I discover a solution fairly soon.

Hey Guys..
I am experiencing the most frustrating problem with my Nokia 5800 Xpress Music. It doesn't happen all the time, but it happens more often than not. When I receive a phone call, the phone vibrates and rings. As soon as I go to pick up the phone, the ringing and the vibration randomly stop altogether. I can still answer the call, but there is no vibration or ringing! If I dont touch the phone, it rings and vibrates for the entire call. Its only when I pick it up and move it round a bit.
This is the most aggrovating problem and I would really appreciate some help. Thankyou so much.

I have this problem, again where the vibration suddenly stopped and if you listen closely you can hear a soft click sound. It sounds to me as though the vibration mechanism is broken but im unsure. The phone is still under warranty, but i wanted to know if there is an easy fix, or should i go down the warranty path?

I'm having the same issue. Somehow a couple of days ago it stopped working altogether. No feedback, nothing on incoming messages or calls. I don't hear any clicking sounds though.
I haven't dropped it. I didn't throw in a lake or anything. I do have warranty on the phone, but I hate to send it away for some time.
Is there any fix available or is it really a case for the repairman?
