Hi,

I have been using my Nokia 5235 since Aug 2010. The memory card is the one which I got along with my phone. But recently, I removed the memory card and performed "Restore Factory Settings". Then I inserted my memory card but the phone is not accepting it and also my phone performance has drastically decrease. Its opening in a 1 min delay time after I perform any normal actions like open dialer, lock phone etc..

Pls help....

Hey rajimolleti,

Welcome to Nokia Discussions forum! Make a back up with Nokia Suite and perform a hard reset. This can be done by typing in code *#7370# followed by the lock code, which is 12345 by default if not changed by the user. Then restore the back up.

If this doesn't help, try to back up without backing up the settings. Then reset and restore this back up.

If the memory card is asking lock code as well, try 12345 or the one you have if you have changed it. Try to back info from the memory card to computer, if you have a card reader in it. Then try to format it and see if the phone accepts it. If this can't be done, could be that there's something wrong with the card.

If you still have issues, could you tell what happens when you try to use the memory card?

Pls am having memory low problems with my nokia c6-00 whenever i try to open my images. 50% of my memory card is free and its 2gb.. And my phone memory still have about 159mb free. Pls help me, what could be the problem? And it do restart itself sometimes. Help pls

Hi krizx,

First check if there are updates available, do as instructed here. If you use Nokia Suite, you can reinstall the phone software if there are no updates available > SW updates > Reinstall.

Clear the cache from the browser as instructed here on the page 60. Also check the page 11 how to close open applications, if there are many open. On the same page check "Increase available memory".

If not helping, then do the hard reset as I instructed in the previous post.
