Hi,
Here's the story: My lock button got broken so I sent it to be repaired to a non-official center (because the official centers refused to repair it as I live in Agentina and I bought the phone in the US). The button was repaired but now there's no sound (unless I use the speaker or I plug the hands free cable). The earpiece is not emiting any sound.
The technicians in the center say the area where they had worked is not related to the sound, so they reject to take responsibility for this fault. Though, they tried to solve the problem changing the earpiece. It still doesn't work. They say they also tried some basic fixes that didn't work either.
I don't know what to do. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance,

Thanks for your quick answer. The problem is that they say they have tried all they are able to try, and they are going to parts where they didn't touch in the original lock button fix. They are not asking for extra money...
They still have the phone and had been trying to fix it for a week. Yesterday they wanted to give it back to me and I asked them to keep trying a little more.
I'm insisting that they should look in the area where they had worked. They say all the sound related parts are in the top part of the phone and they had only open the bottom part to replace the broken button. Is this correct? Is there any cable or piece in the bottom part of the phone that might be causing this problem, so I can give them this info as a clue?
Thanks again.
