N95 Headphone help

Hi

My N95 is showing the headphone enhancement symbol in the top right hand corner but no headphones are connected - I can only hear the phone now if I actually do connect headphones which I do not want to do! when i remove the headphones it does not disconnect them?

Any ideas if I can disable the enhancement?
