Please help me,

My nokia n95 8g was working great , until yesterday the screen freezes and when i closed it and opened it again , the screen is black and also there is no sound to show that the problem is in the screen, the only thing that i can see is the light of the menu keys,

I removed the battery and putted it again and still nothing,

Please help,

do you have the latest firmware update? i hope you have a back up made of your stuff or are able to make one. if not you will lose all your data. the default code is 12345. you might have to go with the last option, option 3 in order to see if you can even restore your phone. if that does not work your only choice is to go to nokia care for assitance as it truly might be a hardware issue with the screen and nooone can help you with hardware issues here on the boards. 

1. *#7780# - Restore factory settings - resets all the settings to the default ( you will not lose any data)
Make sure you back up your data as you will lose all of it when you perform option 2 or 3 on this list. The default code for all operations listed here is 12345

2. *#7370# - Reformat your phone

3. This you perform as a last resort. Nothing else is working.If the phone is not showing any activity, proceed with hard formatting , turn off your phone, hold the following buttons while pressing the power button. (the default code is 12345)
hard reset - hold the following buttons *, 3 (number button) and talk/green key. turn on the phone and do not release those buttons until you see the Nokia boot up screen. once you feel the phone power up you can let go off the power button while still holding all three buttons ( for Nokia 5800XM - use the following buttons to do a hard reset, GREEN/RED/CAMERA keys pressed all at once on power up. this will only work on 5800's that have firmware version 20... and up. )

If these codes are not working the only thing for you to do is contact your Nokia Care Center/Service for assistance.

thanks alot, I tried to remove the battery for long time and when i put it, the phone works ok for few seconds and then the screen freeze again,

I tried the comobo keys but it didnt work, and i tried the codes and it works fine but when it restart and ask me to choose the country and when i was selecting the country the screen freeze again !!! 

pls help and thanks for ur help
