Untill the charge meter stops moving, about a couple of hours should do it, they stop charging when fully charged anyway, so leaving on charge overnight would not cause a problem ![]()

Actually, most phone batteries are supplied in a charged state anyway, so you can usually start up the phone straight out of the box, which means that you can be giving it its initial charge whilst you are playing to find your way around it.
As Carman58 points out, though, charge it until the charging icon remains still to show complete - the guages in any mobile phone can be deceptive.

I think it takes 1-2h that the battery icon tells its fullu loaded. Get the Nokia Battery app to know when your phone is fully charged

24 hours minWhere did that come from, once it's fully charged that's it?
Yes with modern battery technology there is no need to charge a phone for 24h or more the first time, I believe that this misunderstanding originates from the use of NiCD & NiMH battery's which was previously common in mobile phones... with modern phones (Li-Ion)the charging stops when the battery reaches full capacity, so while it will not harm the battery to leave it plugged in for 24h, it will on the other side not make any difference when it comes to battery life and capacity... Still with modern battery technology it usually takes a few charge-discharge cycles before the battery reaches it's full potential as I've understood it.. But it's sufficient to charge the battery until the phone indicates that the battery is full :-)
