Have unlocked Nokia 7100-s from Australia, trying to use Canadian sim card while travelling in Canada and it is not recognizing sim card. Help!

Your phone is dualband only and probably supports the 900/1800 bands while most if not all Canadian networks use the 850/1900 bands. You need a triband or higher phone for higher for it to work.
