my Nokia C5-00 mobile screen shows "emergency calls only'.i changed the sim card but facing the same problem.help me please

Welcome to the forum!

 

Have you tried removing SIM and battery for 5 minutes then replacing to see if makes any difference?

 

Do you get normal Nokia "Shaking hands" logo and start-up tone when re-booting device?

If I've helped in any way, a click upon the white star at bottom right of screen would always be appreciated.


However if my answer also solves your problem clickingbelow it will benefit other users!

..and to add.. Enter 'Emergency calls only' in the search box on Discussion Main page and you will find some interesting threads on this issue...

Thanks - this worked on the C3 for me - I took the SIM out and waited 5 minutes - I also rubbed the SIM gold contacts lightly with a cloth in case they'd become dirty.
