Does big memory cards freeze 6233?

Hi all,

 

Till now I've been using a 64mb card but now I'm considering getting a bigger card. Someone told me that the bigger the storage space the more this will cause the phone to freeze/ hang.

 

So, I want to know is this true? If so, is 1gb considered too much or should I stick to smaller cards?

 

I also read here in some post that there are two types of cards: SD  and SDHC. How can I know which type is compatible with my phone?

this will take microSD, up to 2GB
anything more WILL slow the phone down
