i have a nokia e63 and i wish to update it but i have to enter the host address of the configuration server in the device manager? anybody have any idea how i would find this out?

Type *#0000# at the stand-by screen. Go to Options -> Check for updates. You would require a working data plan or a Wireless network connection for the phone to retrieve update status from the Nokia servers. If there are updates available OTA, you will be prompted to download and install them.

I have configured in Device Manager according to your given strings, but when I am trying to connect to server by "Start Configuration" it shows connected but when receiving data it says "Opeartion Cancelled by Server". Please help me what should I do .

Actually I am going to update Nokia E63 software version 200.21.012 released over device manager but I don't know how to do this. From googling I have find out that it is possible to update through device , I donot have USB data cable thats why failed to update through Pc.

In reference Nokia Site it is found that :

Key *#0000# into your phone's home screen or go to Device manager (consult your user guide if necessary)

Select Options > Check for updates.

Follow the on-screen prompts until your update is complete!

But I do ot find Options > Check for updates. ....

Can u plz help me!!

i dont have usb cable hence i could not do device software update from PC to my nokia e 63

i have tried using those server details given by some one in the previous disucssion

getting err msg : operation cancelled by server

please can any one help me how do i do the update from the phone itself using device manager or any other way please....

Same problem: *#0000# > No menu options > check for update :-(  I have phone Type RM-437, Model E63-1, Code: 0587659, provider: Orange Romania,  network locked phone.

Also the update is locked by Orange, not only the network ?

I used the configuration details for setting up my device manager so I can install the latest update, but when I try the address, it is invalid.  Because Nokia does not support Mac computers, I have to rely on updating my phone by using my WLAN...which works fine with the phone.  Will somebody please update the ALL the configuration data (especially the web address) or let me know where to find it?  Thanks

Nokia E63 is not having the feature of " Firmware over the air" FOTA.

Only Nokia Care or Nokia software Updater will help.
