nokia N8 sync to microsoft works calender not outlook

when I sync my phone it can not sync calender as I do not have outlook. I want to sync to works but in options screen although it says it will sync to a chosen application it only shows outlook as an option and I cant change it ....does anyone know if it is possible and how  to do this  ......

I am sure that I am able to assist you in resolving this issue.  However, I’m not sure that I understand your post correctly.

Are you using MS Works Suite or are you trying to syncing via BT or USB via OVI Suite...?

I have the same problem using Windows 7 and Windows Live mail 2011.

My solution is to move the SIM-card from N8 to my old N95 and use the calendar in PC-suite.

 

I hope there will be a solution soon. If not the only way is to buy a new phone compatible with Windows Live Mail from another company. A working  calendar is essential for most people.
