the upgrade to 500.21.009 installed lotus traveler on my e71. I tried to delete it but unfortunately it reinstalls after every restart of the phone. Any suggestion on how to remove the application permanently? thx

Delete the sis installer from phone memory (c drive)

How do you do that? Do you need to hack the phone first?

No hacking involved. Open the File manager or X-plore and locate the Lotus installer sis.

if we delete this sis file, some other files like ''open C GLIBRARY'' won't install too? if they don't install thats great because these files make the phone ''slow'' and I think these files have to do with the lotus application thats why are installed by default.

Nope, there is no lotus installer sis. Couldn't find it with phone itself, and t hat xplore costs money.
It still keeps on installing that IBM jargon sw when phone is booting.

Xplore is a free appliction with less features than the pro version. It's good as file manager.

Hey, it worked!
Just had to read the Xplore readme first.
Thanks!
..so how 'bout removing that annoying chat? What's its filename? Don't like it, typical Nokia sw that does not work properly.

X-plore is reliable software used by a lot of people on this forum.

Try the Y-Browser, better and with more functions and completely free!!!

Neither X-plore or the Y-browser work on my phone, can't even get it installed because of some certificate error I keep getting on my phone. Any other solutions?

Set App. Mgr. to install all software, turn off online certificate check.
