e63 firmware upgrade problem

Hi!

 

I've just bought an E63. The phone is branded. Before trying to update the firmware, I have checked on the Nokia website, that the latest available version is the current one, the 110.21.006. Nokia Software Updater says the same. This firmware is more than one year old, and after it appeared the 200.*** and the 400.*** version too. I'd really like to update it.

When will appear a new firmware for my phone to? Is there any way to update it without loosing my guarantee? How?

It depends who the phone is branded with as to whether any upgrades are available. If the software updater says no then you should not try to upgrade it some other way. I would contact your SP and ask about it since like you say the latest version is 400....
