the only way to do this is to use silent profile or to turn off the notification sounds on your current profile.

You cant turn off shutter sound, not even in silent mode on the E63. It's not allowed in most countries to turn it off.

in no way camera sound can be disabled as it is companies liability to keep sound for camera image capture as it is mandatory from legal point of view.

There is no option to disable the sound on a Nokia handset when in regards to taking photos, this stops people taking sneaky or un wanted pictures of people.

i Have a cool E63 that the Camara is silent if I use the Silent Profile so mine is better then yours hehe.  Although it is peculiar that although the camara is silent in Silent mode I cant find the setting that makes it silent.  Maybe because I have the E63-2 and is different then E63s for other countries

Guys...Jimmy is right. There is really no option to turn off the shutter sound guaranteed. You can flip the world upside down but still, you will never find something that does not exist.

I have the E63-2, which I believe is the US version and I can mute the shutter sound by setting it to the Silent profile. I just cannot turn off the indicator/red eye flash.
