is there a way to set a calendar alarm to ring only once or at least for sometime

it is very annoying that the alarm rings continuously and i have to manually snooze it

what happens if i am in the toilet at the office, the alarm is very annoying for my colleagues

do you any better reminder/organizer application with this feature?

i tried handy calendar but i haven't solve my problem
