Re: e52 modem connection NOT for internet access

Hmm, some kind of null modem project, I guess?  How are you planning to connect a wireless modem to a wired modem?  And how are you controlling the E52 modem?  Is there a terminal program for Symbian?

Re: e52 modem connection NOT for internet access

Hehe, sorry.  It took a little while for your question to sink in.  There is a protocol difference between a data connection to a cell tower and an analog data connection.  See http://www.developer.nokia.com/Community/Wiki/AT_Commands and follow along with the screen shots.  It's possible the only thing you were missing was the semicolon (; ) following the ATDT command.  Hope that helps!  (I didn't actually try it myself, but it seems very straightforward.)
