People who have bought the first release of E72 (say, those sold from november '09 to February '10 should already upgrade. The Operators and "Country variants" codes, instead, (on the market say after February '10) aren't interested yet.

According to the new firmware changelog: "altogether 450+ errors are fixed".
So, this phone was on the market for about one year now, with over 450 errors ?!?!? Aren;t they ashamed ? I am not sure what is going on with Nokia, but this kind of "errors" made me, a loyal Nokia user of their high-end phones, to switch to Android....
So, I agree: "Wake-up Nokia !"

actually the changelog posted here in the removed thread was taken from a non official Nokia site, as pointed out by some members here, so we shouldn't rely on what is reported there. In any case. I think that most part little software errors are not even perceivable in normal use and maybe are just revealed by emulator programs that run routines.
What is irritating is that Nokia seem deaf, if not even arrogant, in front of some little implementations in their phones sw, such as, to say just two, the handling, by their native client, of the IMAP server sent folder, or the call register not showing different icons when calls come from/are addressed to cell or home phone. The thing is made worst by the awareness that those implementations aren't just for moods of the user, as one can find them on any other phone of the same levell or lower, including other nokia models

Yes, I agree, there are many little implementations which "even S40 can do", but Nokia refuses to implement them in the S60.
The small errors might not be perceivable in normal use, but they do spoil the user experience, annoy, make the phone freeze, make you wonder if the phone was even tested before, etc.. This ultimately lead to a deal-break. Because, when they are too many, they add-up to make the phone a real pain in the ... to use. Even the N-series users can confirm this (yes, I am looking at N97)
