Hello,
Can anyone help,
I have an E52, and its on its second update, previous from the one in November.
I use it with SIPGATE on VoIP a lot and since the update to 031.012 last week, I cannot hear the caller when they call from conventional telephone (BT).
It appears that calls from some VoIP phones ie: Draytek are ok, and the BT caller can hear me (I experiomented) and with FRING it works ok.
I have tried setting G729 as Priority along with PCMa and PCMu but still the calls from telephone network are only one way audio.
I note since upgrading that new menus have appeared in "Net Settings" including Codecs. Any suggestions?
Again, so far some VoIP seems fine.
Any suggestions as to why this may be. Under old firmware it was fine.

Hiya,
I have got it working,
Now, it required me to put in the "Realm", but I seem to recall that
a: This setting was not available previously or
b: It obviously worked before / most of it still worked without the need for afterwards
So I assume that I am not incompetent, but it was perplexing that suddenly it is incorrect
.
Among settings maybe of interest is:
Realm (under VoIP settings) Which for sipgate is stun.sipgate.net Port 10000
Also I see that the Proxy (or Register or part of both) settings needed me to re-insert my username & password and a port (5060 or 5160).
Still to make it WORK on 3G - there is a setting for with a Cryptic name that is Off to fix turn on, but though it registers, making a call is "not as easy" a m8s E51 does it though.
Else, VoIP works well I find, on E52, but definately quirky.
